Magnifica

Original Magnifica

Three thousand years ago, the world had only one hope of surviving the evil Pale Queen's reign: a band of heroes called the Magnifica. The Magnifica consisted of a dozen twelve-year-olds—seven males and five females. Some were rich, some were poor, some were educated, some were not. But they all possessed the enlightened puissance and the ability to create magic using the ancient Vargran tongue . . . whether they knew it or not. (Which, in Grimluk’s case, was not.)

Now, thousands of years later, the blood of the Magnifica flows through a dozen new twelve-year-old heroes—including one Mack MacAvoy. These twelve new heroes must form the Magnificent Twelve and fight the Pale Queen once again. In the end, the first Magnifica succeeded. The question is: Will the second?
